just undergoing refurbishment of surgeries and waiting areas
Appalling surgery, the worst I have experienced in all my life. Almost impossible to get an appointment, and if you do and you're late due to public transport, there's no way you'll get to see a doctor or get any advice, just abuse from the receptionists. No longer with this practice due to the ineffective way it is run.
It has been difficult to get through to the surgery in the past and I hope the new system that has started will improve this.
I have hearing difficulties and can not always hear the announcements when the Doctor calls you. This is mainly caused by the background noise in the waiting room.
The flu jab notice was sent out to patients by post but not all them received them. Could this be sent by email for those whose email you have next year.
Thank you for taking the time to review our Surgery. We are constantly reviewing our Appointment system to make it easier for Patients to access appointments. We have been undertaking refurbishments recently to increase the number of consulting rooms which we hope to have finished by the end of November. We will be reviewing our system for inviting patients for their flu jab in the future to include email/text messages for Patients. Leigh Burgess Practice Manager
I have always found Rowe Avenue surgery to be friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for the receptionists...and have always found the doctors (who ever is on call or standing in) to be as helpful and as informed as they should be....above all they listen.
They provide an excellent caring service. My one gripe is the difficulty in getting an appointment by telephone. As I an hard of hearing telephone calls can in themselves cause stress.
